What is Calqo?

Calqo is aiming to simplify the finance ecosystem for accountants, businesses and individuals in order to automate tedious tasks and use a combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Intelligence (BI) to efficiently plan and implement accounting work. By leveraging automation, 3rd party integrations, and AI, not only will our products empower our customers to improve the work efficiency within their businesses but also provide real world actionable intelligence to solve their current issues and help prevent future problems from happening.

Who are we?

We are a team of technology, finance, and marketing professionals who have come together with years of integration, automation and finance experience to create a new breed of finance product. Our goal is to automate the tedious, prioritise the important, and solve problems before they occur.

Luke Jenkins,
Co-Founder, Technology

Luke is an entrepreneur and software engineer with more than 13 years’ experience in the security industry, alongside a background spanning finance, HR and business operations. Having spent recent years in a leadership role as Managing Director of a software company in Swansea, he combines technical expertise with a practical understanding of how businesses operate and grow.

His core specialism is software engineering, with experience leading and delivering multi-million dollar security software projects for major international organisations, particularly across the US market. Alongside large-scale delivery work, he enjoys working closely with smaller businesses on projects of all sizes, valuing collaboration and straightforward communication.

He holds a BSc in Software Engineering and an MSc in Applied Computing, bringing an analytical and solutions-focused approach to every project. Known for being pragmatic and approachable, he believes in owning mistakes, learning quickly and finding the best way forward.

Craig Evans,
Co-Founder, Marketing

Craig is a creative agency founder and marketing specialist with a reputation for producing authentic, visually engaging content that connects with audiences and delivers results across sectors. With a strong background in photography, content creation and digital marketing, he combines creative direction with a clear understanding of what businesses need to grow their presence and stand out online.

Alongside content production, he now works in a consultancy capacity, helping brands refine their marketing, strengthen their content strategy and align creative output with commercial goals. Craig’s approach is rooted in understanding both the business and the people behind it, building long-term client relationships through trust and consistency.

His work has been featured by leading automotive brands including Land Rover, Porsche and Mazda, alongside collaborations with clients such as The National Lottery, Weetabix and NatWest.
